Starting therapy is a courageous step.

Whether you’re brand new to it or simply starting fresh with someone new, therapy can feel intimidating—but it shouldn’t feel like a chore.

My goal is to create a space where you can exhale. Whether we’re meeting virtually or in person, I want you to feel safe, comfortable, and empowered to bring your full self—messy parts and all. Sessions with me often feel more like catching up with a trusted friend than sitting in a clinical office.

  • Why no insurance?

I don’t bill insurance directly, and here’s why- many of my clients come to therapy for self-growth, stress, or life transitions that don’t require a formal mental health diagnosis. Insurance companies typically require one, along with detailed records and limits on session types or frequency. Without the time and stress of submitting insurance claims, I am able to spend more time with clients and on further education.

By offering self-pay therapy, I can protect your privacy, keep our work entirely between us, and tailor sessions to your unique needs—not a checklist from your insurance provider. I’m happy to provide a superbill if you'd like to request out-of-network reimbursement.

  • As part of my commitment to equity in mental health care, I reserve a portion of my practice for clients with low income, financial hardship, or those navigating systemic oppression. These reduced-fee sessions are designed to increase access for those who might not otherwise be able to engage in therapy.

Sliding scale availability is limited, but I welcome inquiries and will always do my best to connect you with care that fits your circumstances—whether that's with me or someone in my referral network.
